The second Session of the Intergovernmental Committee for Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Slovenia and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, 7-8 November 2019
On November 7 and 8, the 2nd Session of the Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation between Slovenia and Vietnam took place in Hanoi. On the sidelines of the meeting, a Business Forum was held at the headquarters of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), attended by eleven members of the Slovenian Economic Delegation. At a forum, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia and SPIRIT presented the Slovenian business environment and the comparative advantages of the Slovenian economic environment. This was followed by a presentation of the participating Slovenian companies and B2B meetings.
Minister of Economic Development and Technology Zdravko Počivalšek met with Minister of Industry and Trade (MOIT) of Socialist Republic of Vietnam Mr. Tran Tuan Anh and with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh.
Evening Reception, which was on 7 November 2019, organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Beijing, was organized to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. Representatives of ministries, companies and the Heads of Mission of the EU Member States were invited. HE Suhadolnik, followed by a speech by Minister Počivalšek, initially addressed the reception. On the Vietnamese side, the Guest of Honor was Hoang Quoc Vuong, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Vietnam.
